About me
Design for excellence
I am an experienced Electronics Design Engineer with a dynamic career spanning from an Electronics Technician to an Electronics Engineer, and now thriving as an Electronics Design Engineer. My journey in the field of electronics is marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence, innovation, and continuous growth.
My Career Journey
My career began as an Electronics Technician, where I developed a strong foundation in electronics manufacturing. I became proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, assembling custom wire harnesses, and operating specialized machinery like the SMT line and CNC machines. I gained hands-on experience in soldering, crimping, and splicing wires, and honed my skills in manual soldering techniques, especially with extremely small components like UFBGA and 0201 (0603 Metric). My role involved overseeing the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line, programming pick and place machines, and setting up reflow profiles for reflow ovens. I also designed printed circuit boards (PCBs) for in-house testing purposes, and managed the ordering of electronic components for both small-scale and mass production.
As I transitioned to an Electronics Engineer, my focus expanded to designing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic circuits and systems. I excelled in multi-layer PCB design using Altium Designer, and developed firmware and software for microcontrollers and FPGAs. My responsibilities included managing Altium component reference libraries and reverse engineering legacy PCB designs and designing new products. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components into complete systems, ensuring optimal performance and manufacturability.
Now as an Electronics Design Engineer with a proven track record in R&D environments, I thrive in collaborative settings, leveraging my diverse skill set and extensive experience to drive innovative solutions. I design analog and digital circuits and specialize in creating multi-layer and HDI PCBs using Altium Designer (A365), ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements. I conduct circuit simulations with LTSpice to validate designs and predict performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, I integrate electronics into larger systems and products. Additionally, I use FreeCAD and Solidworks for 3D design and modeling of electronic components and enclosures. With significant experience in microcontroller and FPGA programming, I develop firmware and have a background in software design.
My Philosophy
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit. I believe in the power of innovation and continuous improvement to deliver outstanding results in the field of electronics. My diverse experience and technical prowess enable me to tackle complex challenges and drive projects to success.

CID+ – Advanced Certified Interconnect Designer
This professional development program provides objective evaluation of core competencies in PCB design, based upon industry standards rather than specifications of a single company. Courses enhance and assess technical knowledge: how to transform an electrical circuit description into a PCB design that can be manufactured, assembled and tested.
CID+ (Certified Interconnect Designer- Advanced) are valuable professional credentials recognized throughout the electronics industry. Designer Certification builds a foundation in design decision-making and practical application of IPC standards.
The course covers the skills necessary to create IPC-compliant PCB designs and covers these topics:
- Considerations
- Materials
- Component requirements
- Assembly requirements
- Board fabrication
- Physical board characteristics
- Documentation
PCB Advanced Design Concepts
Advanced Design Concepts is accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board under ANSI/ASTM E2659-18, Standard Practice for Certificate Programs.
The course covers the skills necessary to create IPC-compliant PCB designs with:
- Advanced or complex packaging
- Reduced available board area
- Non-orthogonal placement and routing
- Non-standard board outline geometry
- Non-standard board mounting
- Advanced board materials
